Re: Scottish Leader Sums It Up

That "vapid empty headed Kamala" has earned more distinction in education and achieved more in government than Trump and both his vice presidents combined.
Very impressive! How the Hell did 77 million Americans who voted to rid their country of her miss that part?

Re: Scottish Leader Sums It Up

Trump is bully and a monster and is not going to be good for anyone, but I can see why they voted for him. He looks pretty good beside that vapid empty headed Kamala and all that woke mob of Hollywood losers who failed to get her elected. It would be hard to imagine the world surviving another 4 ...

I remember the first hard drive I ever bought was a Maxtor - I think 40g. I bought it at costco. It would have been around 2000 and I was using Win98SE.

You really do hate it.. :nastylol:
This VM I'm in is Windows 11 pro 24h2 and it's basically the same thing. I put them on the taskbar. For PS you have to right click it to get the admin prompt, and for CMD I hold Ctl-Shift to get admin.
I uninstalled copilot and it seems to be gone, BUT, I'm not ...

Here are 'The Band" with Mavis Staples and co. from the last waltz. Watched the whole movie tonight. Never get tired of it...
I believe Mavis is still alive in her mid eighties. Ronnie Robertson and Levon are gone, not sure about the rest of the band.

Re: Western Digital NVME Windows 11 24H2 BSODs

Did another one today on the linux host with virt-manager/KVM. I did install the virtio video driver this time and yes, much better. Actually I had fairly decent graphics the first KVM win11 vm. Main problem was not being able to get the proper resolution, but everything is working great now.
It's ...

Hmm, maybe I'll try it again with virt-manager KVM and the virtio driver. I'd rather use that. I don't really like Virtualbox much.

Re: Western Digital NVME Windows 11 24H2 BSODs

I got it this morning no problems. I installed in a qemu vm but couldn't get any kind of graphics so did a Virtualbox VM on a windows host and once guest additions were installed it was good, runs very nice after a bit of debloating. That recall program was enabled but didn't show up anywhere that I ...

Re: Western Digital NVME Windows 11 24H2 BSODs

I'm soon going to be downloading 24H2, but I'll be using it in a VM where it'll be the virtio drivers and Linux kernel on the host. (I can start working on that article again now that it's out and I can get an ISO)

Thanks for that.
I do quite a few Windows 11 installs, but so far no WD NVMEs and no 24H2 versions. For a long time now I've been buying Samsung or Crucial NVME drives as they seem to have been the best deals at the time.

Re: Plasma 6.2.0 Default Wallpaper

I was thinking I could probably disable it altogether as from the little bit I read about it, it might not matter for me as I always give my VMs lots more memory than they need and I only run one at a time, but as you said, leave it where it's been since the beginning.

I'd never heard about that. It's quite a bit different here. There are always signs telling you where they took your car if it was towed off a public street. The city maintains a website where you can plug in your license number and it will locate your car in whichever impound lot they took it to ...
