Frontier WIFI Rentals

Post by Zema Bus »

I got this email ad from Frontier the other day (they took over FIOS from Verizon a number of years ago). Why would anyone pay $10/month, month after month, year after year just for a couple WIFI extenders vs just buying them for $20 - $40?
Virtually eliminate dead spots and expand Wi-Fi coverage in your home for only $10/mo.

You’ll get 2 additional devices, one will plug into your current router to boost your signal, and the 2nd one will act as an extender to place anywhere you need more coverage.

Use the MyFrontier App to claim your first 3 months on us!

Around here ISPs want to charge you monthly for turning on the WiFi on your modem/router combo. I have business service so I get to demand a modem in bridged mode, but other people have to do double NAT if they want to have their own WiFi.
