3 AM, winding down, thought I'd play some nice relaxing Mass Effect games. EA had other plans
It removed (but didn't remove the games) all the content from my library, for "unlisted reasons". The games are still installed, and I can launch them but content won't authorize. For example, Mass Effect Andromeda tells me "you are not allowed to use online features" and I can't load my saves because stupid fucking bonus content isn't authorized. (stuff like "Deep Space Explorer Pack")
This is what it shows (scrollbars hidden... there's more)
It's not just me, I found reddit posts as new as 40 minutes ago "EA removed my whole library!"
Between my Dead Space 2 and 3 games not activating for months and now this, they are FIRED.
I wasn't ever able to run those older Dead Space games since I transplanted everything to the new box because EA activation breaks when whatever sneaky thing they do has changed on disk. It was only after a client update I got a few nights ago that's finally fixed. It had the wrong activation servers or something for those games because they instantly failed to connect with an error message and again, it wasn't just me.

Some people had games removed right after purchasing them:

It knocked people right out of their games, I see.

Same here, content removed for "unlisted reasons". Games still installed, but it won't authorize content and consequently, won't let me load saves because of some dumb cosmetic thing that's in the game state.
EA... you're fired. Between my Dead Space games not activating for months and now this, I've had enough. I don't need this hassle, I'll go buy my games from more consumer friendly publishers.
