"A Linux User Sets Up Windows 11"

Post by Zema Bus »

This is a Linux youtuber I often watch. He's setting up a laptop for a friend.

It sure is a disconnect, I was pretty pissed off setting up Dad's laptop. (though I was better prepared for it than he was lol)

This is actually my first computer that's never had a Windows install on it. (never going to... it's too detestable now, unlike Windows 7)

I don't want to start a new thread just for this, but I'll stick it here.
FAT-fs (nvme1n1p1): Volume was not properly unmounted. Some data may be corrupt. Please run fsck.
This is just another example of Microsoft's pollution. Who in their right mind would use such a shitty filesystem for something so important, if they didn't dictate the UEFI standard.

Am I going to run some fsck.msdos thing on it, or just reformat it and put the data back (and change UUID string in grub.cfg). I think I'll ignore it unless it goes bust.
