These are for Phoenix, it tends to be slightly cooler here, probably because of the urban heat island effect in Phoenix vs here where it's rural with a lot of nearby agriculture.

That's horrendous, even without high humidity. I think I'd want redundant air conditioning in case of failures.

We've had some very hot humid days here (e.g. 90F+) which feels bad, and doesn't cool down much at night with the humidity, but not every day. Last night it was so cold I could have used a coat. I had my window open and it was great.

A few weeks ago we had air quality alerts because of wildfires all over the country. (Mostly more northwest of us, but air currents were giving some of it to us)
