Star Wars Outlaws

I impulsively bought that last night, $144 CDN including tax (for the Ultimate Edition). I need things to help escape these days and was willing to overlook my spite since the last game.
Unfortunately, I hated it and refunded it. It looked nice, and worked well (I had to use Valve's Proton Experimental though, it didn't work with bleeding edge) but with a few brief flashing artifacts in certain lighting, at certain angles, but the game play was horrible. Playing as this crumb bum thief with but 5 credits to her name, sneaking around and getting my pet to pickpocket people. Then, sneak into a crime boss's club and steal some identicards, then go sneak into another crime boss's stronghold. Climbing, jumping, "parkour", and sneaking. When blaster combat was "allowed" it wasn't too bad, but scripted "Caught!" (in big red letters) while escaping from this club ending the game did it for me. Star Wars is supposed to be about heroes, not ratfuck thieves, anyway.
I tried for 70 minutes and decided I wasn't going to tolerate another frustrating Ubisoft game (essentially Assasin's Creed Mirage, in a Star Wars sandbox). No way I'm eating $144, I'm shooting from the hip this time.
Same premise, you're a cocky thief that is scripted into getting caught and having to kill people, getting your mentor shot (wounded) when they come looking for you, townspeople killed, and having to flee your home for good etc. What a way to ruin a Star Wars game. I am disappointed... Ubisoft CAN make good games (Odyssey, Valhalla... I enjoyed the shit out of those) but this? Bollocks.
