It was the last good version of Windows so I can understand the motivation if they want to stick to Windows.

I liked Windows 7, it was almost as if I didn't have to hate Windows anymore. Unfortunately it became non-viable for games, and soon after that, if you wanted updated browsers and shit. My sister still has Windows 7 on her desktop computer and I have her on Firefox ESR.

I find that guy to be a repetitive, pretentious twat. Look at him posturing and pantomiming. Look at him gloating because Steam is now cutting those people off, too. Fuck him.

I'm actually a bit sorry about that outburst, thinking about it later, but I found him pretty insulting in this video.

If nobody stupid ever uses the computer, Windows 7 is fine for running existing software. The fact that it gets no updates is a bonus.

Less chance for breakage. I really don't use windows anymore. Haven't updated 10 in about a year. My computer is inadequate for 11, and I just don't want to upgrade yet. This box is about 8 years old. The only thing I've replaced is the video card.

I really need to think about a new box.....
