I heard about this game today. The player takes a pickup truck and modern weapons back in time to the sword fighting era. In the trailer he's mowing down armies with his truck, and shooting them with a multitude of modern weapons including a sniper rifle. It's supposed to be out sometime this year.

Heheh... I always wished I could do that, go back to medieval times with machine guns and shit lol
I'll have to watch for that one

Re: Kingmakers Game
That sure does look like something I could play, a strategy game (choices) but third person shooter perspective and action. So far the requirements are only listed as Windows 10 and 64 bit processor, but that'll just be because they aren't determined yet.
Re: Kingmakers Game
Yeah I'm looking forward to this one, hope it'll be as good as it seems. Lots of times in sword fighting games I thought if only I had a gun lol!

Here's a recent trailer:
Re: Kingmakers Game
ooohhh... 4K, sampled down and destructively encoded in a youtube video
(Why even say that. it kills me when people try to demonstrate resolution, ray tracing, dithering, etc. in a 400x400 jpg or something lol)
I'm going to buy that game just for the concept, likely. This trailer showed quite a bit... that looks funny as Hell, mowing down horses and soldiers with machine guns etc. But yes... arrows still hurt.
It's a smaller publisher, so it's not likely to be all gibbled up with DRM we can't work with too.
