You know my stance on it. There's no way the brain could function the way it does with just ion transfer "wiring" and chemical message signalling (neurotransmitters etc.) without some kind of instantaneous state change.
That you need cryo environments to induce such quantum effects in a lab, doesn't say that much. They aren't exactly working with the same methods and materials, are they? You often can't duplicate the complex chemistry/physics involved in biological processes.
You're working with shit you can't observe, either, in the human brain. Science can't say things like this without proof.
P.S. I sure do like that lady. Even her endorsement of her sponsor (Babbel) was good and it fit right in with the topic of consciousness and the way the brain works.
