US Robotics External Modem

Post by Zema Bus »

I've been looking for my old US Robotics external modem for months while cleaning out the house, I eventually gave up and assumed it was gone. Then today while cleaning out the last of the junk I picked up yet another old cardboard box full of old junk, I was going to do a quick look through before throwing it in my junk pile in the garage. I spotted a large power adapter and thought I'd hold onto that, and I noticed something molded into the top: "US Robotics" :) I rummaged through the rest of the box and there it was! Last seen 18 years ago, last used about 23 years ago.

Hey, you might be able to view a web page if you start loading it before bed (nowadays lol)

Still, that would be gold if you needed a modem for anything. That's where an old computer comes in handy too, with serial ports. I think I have one of those in the closet somewhere. Maybe not, I might have given it to someone that needed a modem back in the 2000's.
